Delray Beach is a city in Palm Beach County. The history of Delray Beach effectively begins with the construction of the Orange Grove House of Refuge in 1876. Hurricane Wilma struck Delray Beach on Monday, October 24, 2005 causing widespread damage to homes and businesses.
