The Multiple Listing Service or Mobile MLS has often been considered the service that stores the entire real estate brokers inventory in the Mobile area into one searchable database. The MLS provides real estate professionals with details on the listings currently on the market. Before the use of the Internet, the MLS would distribute a book with the listings to its members. These books would be updated regularly to reflect new and sold Mobile property.

There are of course other variables that can affect Mobile house values. These variables are dictated by the situations of a given buyer or seller. Typical behaviors usually show the following trends. First, you may have Mobile sellers who have patience and are willing to wait for the right buyer therefore they will get their asking price though it may be slightly inflated. Then there are those who have already moved into a new Mobile home and they are paying for both homes so they need to get their old house off their hands and they will often be willing to go lower than market value if they have to. Conversely, we have buyers. They too have an impact on house values. This is usually displayed by their willingness to pay either more or less than current house values.

One of the biggest contributing factors in the Mobile home values is measuring the saleability of a house. Enter an address or click on the Traditional Full Appraisal icon to begin. As we all know, Mobile home owners value their homes, but this is just the baseline for a bigger view of Mobile home values. Just like the home owners, neighborhoods hold their value based upon the homes that are located within it. To go a step further, a town or a city's value is generally determined by the neighborhoods and homes that are contained within its limits. Home values have a large impact on how a house, a block, a city, a state and even a country are viewed. They are also a key indicator of how well the Mobile area is doing economically.

Full access to the Mobile Multiple Listing Service is usually available on a membership basis and until recently the MLS search was only available to Realtors or other realty professionals that are members of the Mobile local MLS Multiple Listing Service.

Mobile is a city located in Mobile County, Alabama, along Mobile Bay. Mobile is the center of Alabama's second-largest metropolitan area. The city is the only saltwater port in Alabama. Mobile is home to the second largest, and is the oldest, Mardi Gras celebration in the United States (1703), predating New Orleans. The settlement, then called by the French name "Fort Louis de lá Mobile", was first established in 1702, as the first capital of the French colony of Louisiana. Following a series of floods, the town was relocated downriver to its present location near the head of Mobile Bay in 1711 and named Fort Conde. The capital of Louisiana was moved to Biloxi in 1720 and to New Orleans in 1723 and Mobile was relegated to the role of frontier town and trading post.
